Session Timeouts & Logging Back In

Arcane automatically ends your session after 20 minutes of inactivity to protect your account.

What happens when your session expires

  • You are redirected to the login screen.

  • Your conversation history, Collections, and saved emails in My Creations are preserved — nothing is lost.

  • Unsaved changes to an email draft may not be retained. Save frequently during long authoring sessions.

  • Download links generated before your session expired will no longer work. Log back in and retry the download from My Creations or the notifications panel.

Logging back in

Go to the Arcane login page and sign in with your usual credentials — email and password, or SSO if your organisation has it configured.

Your My Creations emails, Collections, and conversation history will be exactly as you left them.

Tips to avoid losing work

  • Click Save in the authoring toolbar before stepping away from a long session.

  • The most recent auto-saved version of any email is available in My Creations even after a timeout — open it there to continue.

  • If you're mid-conversation in Content Assist, your conversation is saved automatically. Reopen it from the left sidebar after logging back in.
